Forbes and TechCrunch reporting on Midjourney and Lovable headcount and revenue
2026
Reported figures put Midjourney at roughly 200 million dollars of annual revenue with around 11 employees, and Lovable at around 400 million dollars of annual recurring revenue in early 2026. Analyses of leading AI startups suggest revenue per employee several times the leading SaaS average.
Two caveats belong in the same breath. Lovable had scaled to 146 full-time staff by that point, and parts of this cohort carry annual churn reported at 40 to 50 percent. The honest synthesis across analysts is a six to eight person unicorn, not a one-person one, and it is drawn as the Levered Solo.
This is the weakest evidence in the library. Almost none of it comes from audited filings, and it is marked accordingly.
